The Roastmaster's Background
It's a far cry from the hill tops of the
African Coffee Plantations where the roastmaster started The Chipironi Mountain
Coffee Co on his Arabica Coffee Estate. Large labour forces were required to reap
the 250 tonnes of coffee each year and many a challenge was faced before the final
bag was packed and transported to the nearest market some 2000 kilometres away.
Alan lived on a coffee plantation in Africa where he experienced firsthand
the art of creating the perfect coffee bean. He gained an incredible insight into
making quality coffee, being able to mix with some of the region's most respected
coffee growers and share stories and tips firsthand. Now this master roaster has
settled in what he calls the "perfect country for serving coffee" with
Australia's amazing growth in coffee culture and emerging coffee connoisseurs.

Alan now believes
that after so many years of growing, roasting and serving coffee, that he has
finally achieved his life long dream of "Seed to cup of excellence". Chipironi
is without a doubt the perfect roast for the Australian coffee drinker.
